Academics
We believe true knowledge and purpose are acquired through understanding the world intellectually, through a God-centered lens. Our children are taught the core subjects of English Language Arts, Math, Science, History/Social Studies, and the Bible with God at the center of every instruction, conversation, and material presented. We have carefully chosen a curriculum that is biblically based, scientifically sound, multi-sensory, rigorous, and yet, adaptable to a student's individual needs. We also have chosen curriculums that are multidisciplinary, so students are able to connect multiple subjects at once through thematic units of study.
Learning Enviroment
At Arise, we strive to make learning comfortable and "homey". With alternative seating arrangements like couches, chairs, rugs and tables, students are encouraged to move around the classroom and school as they work. We understand that learning does not look the same for everyone and that each child is "fearfully and wonderfully made". (Psalm 139:14)
Elementary School
Our Elementary Student program is run traditionally with certified teachers teaching all core subjects.
Middle School
Arise Christian Academy is partnering with Veritas Press to offer a hybrid model for our middle schoolers. Students will combine live online classes through Veritas with hands-on learning opportunities at Arise.
Veritas Scholars Academy is a private, K-12 academic institution with a distinct classical Christian approach to learning. As all truth is God’s truth, our academic explorations are conducted with a biblical worldview in mind. Teachers are passionate about their respective subject areas and how faith and learning intersect.
